#ShineATealLight: Thanks for making Halloween inclusive
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this Halloween brighter and more inclusive for kids with food allergy with our #ShineATealLight campaign!
From lighting up your homes in teal, displaying our posters, and attending teal lighting events, to offering allergy-friendly or non-food treats, driving awareness with our glow-in-the-dark bracelets, or sharing our resources — you made a real difference. Your support helps ensure that every child can experience the fun of Halloween with confidence and belonging.
We’re so grateful for our incredible community of #FoodAllergyChampions across Canada — thank you for helping us spread awareness, inclusion, and teal spirit!

The Benji Impact Gala: Setting the camp standard – safe, inclusive, aware.
Last month, we were at The Benji Impact Gala, an inspiring evening dedicated to advancing food allergy awareness and education. Throughout the evening, we connected with guests, shared educational resources, and provided hands-on EpiPen® demonstrations. It was a meaningful opportunity to engage with the community, raise awareness about food allergy, and celebrate the lasting impact of Benji’s legacy.

Last summer, Benji tragically passed away at the age of 17 from anaphylaxis while at sleepover camp. The Benji Impact was created shortly afterwards.
At the gala, The Benji Impact generously donated $25,000 to Food Allergy Canada. These funds will go towards our joint objective to create a lasting shift in the camp landscape across Canada—where safety is embedded in policy and practice, in Benji’s honour.
Mark your calendars: This GivingTuesday – December 2 – make a difference for Canadians with food allergy
GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity that brings people together to create positive change. This GivingTuesday, support Food Allergy Canada. The generosity from donors fuels everything we do — from life-saving education to advocacy that drives progress for the more than 3 million Canadians impacted by food allergy.

Because of the donations we receive, we’re able to:
- Empower families through trusted education and community programs.
- Advocate with government and industry to strengthen policies and safety standards.
- Provide resources to the community and healthcare providers in multiple languages so everyone can access the information they need to confidently manage.
See the impact in action — explore our latest Impact Report and watch our video to learn how we are helping to transform the way food allergy is managed in Canada. You don’t have to wait until GivingTuesday! Give today and help us build a safer, more inclusive future for everyone affected by food allergy.
