Today, ALK Canada announced that neffy® epinephrine nasal spray is now widely available in pharmacies across Canada.
Canadians can access the 2 mg dose for treating anaphylaxis in adults and children weighing 30 kg (66 lbs) or greater.
With this availability, Canadians now have access to two epinephrine device options – neffy and EpiPen®.

Expanding access to epinephrine has been a longstanding advocacy priority
Greater choice in epinephrine devices is an important step toward improving allergy management in Canada. With the introduction of neffy, Canadians now have another treatment option to discuss with their healthcare provider and select based on their individual needs.
This milestone reflects years of advocacy to help ensure there are a minimum of two epinephrine device options available in Canada, strengthening supply resilience and reducing dependence on a single manufacturer.
This progress has been made through ongoing collaboration with the Government of Canada, provincial governments, pharmaceutical companies, healthcare professionals, and other key stakeholders.
As new epinephrine device options continue to emerge, we remain committed to advocating strongly and consistently to ensure Canadians can access the full range of options.
