Why the pilot program is important
The pilot program is a big step forward in our efforts on educating and enabling the next generation on food allergy and anaphylaxis. With your participation, we can help ensure that the program delivers the highest quality resources and meets the needs of educators across the country.
Caroline Lorette: inspiration for the school program
This program is inspired by Caroline Lorette of Rothesay, New Brunswick. Caroline passed away in 2014 after accidentally eating something that had one of her allergens in it. Her family is dedicated to promoting allergy awareness and education. Read a personal letter from the Lorette family.

This program includes:
- Four modules that are approximately 30 minutes in length
- Activities to support the learning modules – please do as many as you can
- Pre/post assessments
Below are the program materials you need for the pilot program.
We want to hear your feedback on the pilot program! Please take a few minutes to complete our online survey.
Note for educators:
This program includes short videos to support instruction, there are several videos about Caroline Lorette with potentially sensitive content. The program also has options for instructional activities, including culminating activities.
