FACT: Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) affects both kids and adults. In fact, it can develop at any age, including infancy. The majority of people are diagnosed in childhood (school-aged kids) or adulthood (usually in their 30s). People with EoE often have other allergic conditions such as asthma, eczema, seasonal allergies and IgE-mediated food allergy, but not always.
